Raleigh, NC – Darrell Allison, the Founding President of Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina, was quick to voice his support regarding the pending nomination by President-Elect Donald Trump of Betsy DeVos as U.S. Department of Education Secretary. In case you missed it, here is what Allison said about DeVos and her credentials to lead the Department of Education:
“Betsy DeVos is a national leader in education, and I consider her a friend as we’ve worked hard in fighting for parental school choice here in North Carolina. Make no mistake about it, her selection as education secretary is a wise choice as she will be a strong transformative leader in education for our nation. Betsy has made it her life’s mission, through her time and treasure, to stand up for families, parents, and children across our country – including North Carolina.
It would be an understatement to say that I am in full support of Betsy’s appointment as Secretary of the U. S. Department of Education. I can personally attest to the fact that you will not find a more dedicated leader who will make it their top priority in ensuring that all families in our country have access to a more quality education than Betsy DeVos.”
